The bite remains great below the dam on Lewis & Clark Lake (Gavins Point) Lots of small sauger being caught in the slack water 17-24' fow. Seeing a few nice 5-8lb walleye being caught each day. Jig and Minnow, jig and plastics are working very well. 3/8oz is a good size jig to start with but mix it up based off the current.
A few of the fish have been milking so the spawn is about to kick off. Limits are still coming it just takes awhile to filter through the little fish. Lots of fishing pressure here.
We are also catching good number of fish pulling 3 way rigs with cranks downstream from the dam in the river channel.
