Taylor Portillo

Yankton, SD

Taylor is a member of the National Professional Anglers Association and is currently a competitive professional angler on the Cabelas Master Walleye Circuit as well as local tournaments.  Taylor has been guiding for The Walleye Guys for several years now and has done excellent work putting clients on fish.  Taylor is the owner of Portillo Drywall in Yankton, SD but when he's not busy rocking your house or running one of his two kids to a wrestling meet or a dance recital you will find Taylor out on the water. 

 

He is excited to join Brian Bashore’s team with “The Walleye Guys”.  As a practicing team member, Taylor and Brian hope to have continued tournament success in the future.  

 

Taylor has a passion for competitive fishing and wants to see the sport grow and improve.  Competition fishing not only provides anglers a potential thrill with the victory, but more importantly supports research and development, environmental/aquatic awareness, local and state economies, kids fishing/family values, and entertainment for all anglers.  Through fundraising and sponsorships, “The Walleye Guys” are eager to help support local and state level tournament circuits.
