It's getting late into November and we still have open water so that is good for many of us even. But the Ice anglers are going nuts! This usually means the fishing is good and big fish are plentiful. However with the colder water temps the bite might be slow some day's but if you work at it you will get your fish. The bite up at Chamberlain has been strong with Jig and minnow being the most effective. Rigging a creek chub behind the boat is alway's a good way to target a true tanker. Glide baits are working as well. Focus on deep holes, around bridges and columns and river channel breaks. Look for these fish to slide up shallow at night and they can be targeted with stick baits or pitch jigs and plastics for them.
You may only have a couple more weeks of fishing so get after it if you haven't put the boat up for the season.
