Lake Francis Case and Pickstown at Fort Randal Dam have all been producing some great fishing for early spring. Jig and minnow/shiner is the primary bait of choice. Trolling lead core with small crank baits is also producing fish in the main river channel north of Chamberlain. Look for walleye so show up in the shallow mud flats as the day progresses and the water warms. Lots of fish in Pickstown being caught right now. Jigs and plastics and Jigs and minnows. Low light conditions are great for shore anglers.
