Fishing Reports for Lewis and Clark Lake and Lake Francis Case.

Fishing Reports

Lake Francis Case 6/16/2026

• The summer bite is picking up and fish are being caught everywhere on Lake Francis Case right now. There is still a shallow bite on some of the flats but start to look for this fish to move to main lake points and to suspend in the deep trees and in the bays. Live Scopers can really put a good bag together chasing suspended walleye but for the average angler pulling bottom bouncers with slow death rigs are hard to beat. Look for fish in 20-40' of water but they will be shallower when the wind blows.

Lewis and Clark Lake 6/16/2026

• The summer bite is starting to take place as the shallow spring bite is wrapping up. Water temp begin to rise and lake traffic begins to pick up many of these fish will move deep and others will move up into the river in search of cooler water. Driving jigs with crawlers or leeches is hard to beat as well as pulling bottom bouncers with crawlers or crankbaits on the deep fish will put a decent bag in your live well. There is an abundant amount of 14.5" walleye in the system to keep you busy reeling them in and the future is bright with this many short fish right now.
