Lake Francis Cases is putting out lots of good fish right now. From Chamberlain north, trolling lead core has been effective in the channel catching the fish as they migrate South. Bigger fish are coming up in shallower water 5-10' fow pitching jigs and minnow and plastics are working well. Big mud flats adjacent to the channel are holding active fish. The rocks around Chamberlain are stacked with fish spawning and the evening bite is great off the shore or from boat working along the rocks.
Down river in the Platte are anglers are having success pitching the rocks with light jigs and minnows. Lots of male walleye hanging out up shallow yet. Be on the lookout for schools of smallmouth bass hanging around the breaks, if you find them you will catch them. Stay mobile and cover lots of shoreline.
