Winter has finally taken it's hold on us up here in SD as well as most of the country. Only good thing about it we are making some serious ICE! Lake Francis Case is putting out some nice walleye on the lower end of the lake around the Platte Creek and Dock 44 are and Buraneks. Drill until you mark some fish but start by looking on the river channel breaks and adjusting from there. Fish are being caught from 18-32'fow. Jig (Goo-Shot) and minnow is best but spoons and glide baits work as well. Just keep on them and showing the fish some options. All the fish I have caught so far have been 18-21" so keep only what you need as they are full of eggs and will be contributing to lots of good fishing for years to come. Pickstown ice is fishable as well but I have not been there yet so stay tuned on social for a report next week from Pickstown.
