Fall fishing is in the air with water temps dropping slowly it's looking like November will the best month this season to target some of the bigger fish roaming these waters. Ocotber has been very warm so there are still lots of fish shallow as well as those that have moved deep this summer. Shallow fish are more active but the big fish are deep but with a short bite window and lots of bait in the systme they can be hard to get until this water cools down drastically. Water temps are still in the low 60's so it may be a few weeks until the big fish bite really takes hold however there are few more being caught each day with most coming on a jig and minnow. The east end of the lake is where most of the fish winter and they are already there with more coming. Use your electronics and find the fish and work them until they are ready to feed or comeback to them later but don't be jumping around when the bite window is going (Major's moon phase) or you will miss you best chance of the day to get hooked up.
