Lewis and Clark lake has been a roller coaster ride lately with dirty water flowing in making fishing a challenge. The fish on the west end of the lake are there if its fishable and typically those shallow water (Chutes) fish will hang around all summer. Best way to target them is pulling spinners rigs or dragging jig and lindy rigs with half a night crawlers or leech. The east end of the lake is holding some fish as well in the deeper water. These fish are best to target early in the morning before the boat traffic picks up. Try trolling leadcore line with crankbaits along the main river channel breaks. With the cleaner water we are experiencing you may find success working glide baits like jigging raps over pods of fish you graph. Hard to beat dropping a jig and nightcrawler down on these as well. Fish it vertically and methodically, keep moving until you find the active pod of fish. There some some big walleyes to be caught it you work at it.
