Fishing Reports
Lake Francis Case 3/1/2026
• The early spring bite is on! The Chamberlain area is the key focus as the rest of the system opens up. Jig and minnow or plastics are the key. Walleye are very spooky as the water is very clean. Focus on areas where you can see the bottom in 10' fow. Make long cast or long drags behind the boat if drifting. Focus on shallow flats in the afternoon once the water warms up. Keep moving until you find and active pod and fish and then work them. Your side imaging is your best friend.
Lewis and Clark Lake 3/1/2026
• Lewis and Clark still has some ice on it. Typically this time of year your efforts are best focused below the dam and up river about Running Water. As the temps begin to warm up the bite will continue to get better and the fish move into a pre-spawn bite. Scott will run trips up river until May as that is when we will focus on the lake bite for the remainder of the year.
