Why should I use a fishing guide, I could just rent a boat.
Although most Nebraska reservoirs have the option of renting boats most rentals are anywhere from $125-$250 for an 8hr period. You also pay for gas, use your own gear, and generally have outdated electronics and little comfort with a smaller boat. For about the same price you could have state of the art electronics and gear. The safety and comfort of a deep v boat. An experienced fisherman and guide who knows the lakes and effective techniques of Nebraska waters, you don't pay for the boats gas and your fish can be cleaned for you if you so wish. What do I need to bring?
We will supply all gear, tackle, and bait.
You will need a current Nebraska fishing license
Proper clothing for the time of year (October and November can be very cold bring layers)
Accessories such as sunglasses, sun block, chapstick etc.
Camera (optional) We will take pictues that can be e-mailed at a later date.
If you wish to bring food please keep it minimal, sandwiches and snacks are ok but please no big bulky coolers to trip over.
Drinks of your choice (Alchohol is now permitted on Nebraska waters and in state parks except Lake Mcconaughy)
