I highly recommend The Walleye Guys. Brian was a great host, put us on fish all day, and enabled us to have a great day on the water catching our limit of large walleye! He knows how to find the fish and he knows how to help you catch them".

ABOUT US

The Walleye Guys are experienced guides and tournament anglers who enjoy sharing their passion for fishing with others. We strive to provide the best possible experience we can for our clients.  Although we have knowledge of many South Dakota waters, our primary fishery is Lewis and Clark Lake near Yankton, SD. When we aren't guiding, we are usually fishing in a tournament somewhere in the Midwest.  We have several years of tournament fishing and guiding experience combined to help ensure we put you on fish.

  • Do you guarantee catch?
We do not guarantee that you will limit out or catch a ton of fish as fishing is very dependent on the weather and many other factors that are out of our control. Our guides do their best to put you on the best bite possible to ensure you have a memorable day.
  • How many walleye can we keep?
The limit per angler is 4 walleye each over 15"
  • What state fishing license do I need?
Either a South Dakota or Nebraska Fishing license is acceptable. Nebraska 1-day permit cost $14.50 and a South Dakota 1-day permits cost $26.
  • We may have issues getting in and out of the boat.
We have 20'-21' boats that are equipped with the best and safest technology. We are able to load from the dock making it easy for disabled or elderly anglers to get in and out of the boat with assistance.
  • Can you handle large groups?
Yes, We have several guides and are able to accommodate large corporate or family outings with plenty of notice.
  • How many people can be on one boat?
We allow up to 4 anglers on 1 boat. If you have more than that we recommend reserving a second boat. Or call for additional circumstances.
