The bite on Francis Case has been a tough one the past couple of months on the lowerend. Many of these fish head for very deep water in Aug/Sept making them hard to targer. Fishing on the upper end is much better right now from Platte Creek and up river. Trolling cranks along the river channel edge in 30'fow with leadcore or snapweights is a great way to locate active fish. Once fish are located try dropping a jig and minnow or Jig N Rap down on them and work it vertically. This same presentation is effective around the bridge pillars at dock 44 as well up in Chamberlain and will produce fish through November.
