The bite continues to be very hot from one end of the reservoir to the other. The best bite as been North of Chamberlain in the Crow Creek area most of the year using jigs and minnow or rigging with minnows. Pitching plastics has been very effective over the past couple weeks as well. The spawn is winding down but fish can still be caught from the shore in town (Chamberlain) and picking jigs and casting crankbaits on to the rocks is working great. Trolling deep with lead core is extremely effective right for numbers of fish but you will have to filter through fish to get your keepers. The bigger fish are coming in shallow water but they will soon be on the move. Bite out of Platte are is very good as well with less boat traffic. Shallow and deep techniques are working everywhere so just go get a line wet and you'll catch some walleye for the table.
