The bite on Lewis and Clark is hot right now! Nothing comes easy on LC but the walleye are biting and the water is cleaner than I have ever seen it. The zebra muscels are working overtime here and it's making the fishing a better. There is a year class of 13"-14" walleye that will keep you busy all day and most keeper size fish are big healthy 18"-21". We had a bit of cold front for a couple day's which slowed things down but it's heating right back up with the weather. Best methods have been pulling RandyRigs spinners with a crawler or leech in 6'-8'fow. Trolling Salmo Crankbaits in the same areas are producing as well. With water temps reaching into the mid 70's look for this fish to move deeper very soon. Walkers to Wiegand is going to start putting out some fish and trolling leadcore with Salmos is the best way to find the active fish. When you find an active pod, put down a Jig N Rap or vertical jig a crawler over them for a change of pace.
