Fishing out of Chamberlain is good as usual when you can get out. The wind has been a constant this year making it very difficult to get out and it's been making a mess out of the river. There has been some good quality fish caught this season so far and when you can get clean water the fishing action is non-stop. When the water is clean it's hard to beat a jig minnow/plastic but when it's dirt trolling is the ticket. You can pretty much drop in anywhere and start trolling the channel with lead core or snap weights and catch migrating walleye. Flicker shads/minnow and shad raps are always a hot bait. The flats hold fish when the weather is right, which isn't ofter lately. The spawn is about to start so look at casting cranks and jigs to the shoreline for those easy target fish. Water temps are 40 degree but the weather forecast is looking up starting the week of the 21st of April.
