    Fishing Report 4/27/2020

    in Lewis & Clark Lake

The bite at Gavins Point Dam continues to produce good numbers of fish. Lots of smaller sauger in the system. If you put in the time you can filter through the smaller ones and come in with a limit of sauger and walleye. Jig and minnow and Jig and plastics are all working well. The spawn is wrapping up and lots of other fish moving up toward the dam. Start to look down stream in current seams and shallow flats for feeding walleye.

The main lake has had a few walleye caught on it as well as the chutes are producing some nice crappie and walleye. There is pre-spawn and post-spawn fishing moving around looking for food. Find some warm shallow water and you will find all types of fish.
