The lake bite at Lewis & Clark has turned on the it's on fire. Pulling cranks baits on the westend in 4-6'fow has been very productive. Ussing Salmo hornets in #4-#5's and flickers shads are all producing nice bags of walleye.
There is some great weed growth on the Dam and it's holding lots of fish. Great multi species area to target. Beaware that pike are biting so ussuing a Flourocarbon leader is recommended. There are fished all over the system right now with the best bites going on the west end and the far eastend near the beaches.
The bite up the chutes is still good with some bigger walleye biting over the past week as well as some 33-40" Pike. Jigs and crawlers as well as trolling small crankbaits are both working well.
